Output.GetOutputUnitForSectInertia

Returns output unit for sectional inertia used by the GUI as a string and is set in the Options dialog box.

VB Syntax

Output.GetOutputUnitForSectInertia Unit

Where:

Unit: A string containing the output unit for sectional inertia.

This is not a conversion unit used in accessing data through OpenSTAAD. Values are always returned in the units of the base unit system, which can be obtained using the GetBaseUnit function.
